The story and vision of DSM - “Dan Sherstad Ministries” began many years ago in the heart of my husband when first stepping out to teach and preach the good news of Christ. Because he had a great love for people he wanted to minister the Liberty and Healing that is found in the Love of God.
In Luke 4:18- Jesus declared His mission:
“The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity],”
The vision of DSM became “Imparting Faith and Restoring Strength” and wherever Dr. Dan Sherstad ministered, lives were impacted and changed by the power and anointing of God. The Kingdom of Heaven was released to set the captives free. In conjunction to DSM traveling world wide ministering in conferences and crusades, Dan and I have pastored full-time three churches in the Midwest.
Now, thirty some years later, the dream for Hollywood that Dan Sherstad has held close to his heart began to arise when the Lord spoke His prophetic word, “Now is the time and this is the season to go to Hollywood!”
By the leading of the Holy Spirit, Dr. Dan has taken steps in obedience to the call to bring the love and liberty found in Christ to Hollywood. DSM Hollywood was birthed this year 2020. The heart and vision of DSM Hollywood is to see our Fathers Kingdom Manifest Now by bringing hope and strength to those who are working in the film industry. To support them as they pursue their dreams and fulfill their god given destiny.
The Lord has been faithful to bring together a team of like minded believers to become a part of DSM Kingdom Now. We are very thankful for our worship leaders and their families who moved with us 3 years ago in 2017 from Wisconsin to Southern California. Together they have become not only our ministry team but they are family. The Lord has also added to our team this year bringing gifted and anointed members to help us to effectively fulfill the call to reach Hollywood.
We are excited to see what doors the Lord will open before us as we take this gospel of Jesus Christ to those who work in the film industry. God is the author of all creativity and He desires to move in and through His sons and daughters to breathe His life into the entertainment and film industry. All for His Glory!
